In the evening, you can enjoy happy hour stream side followed by al fresco dining under the lights. Finish the evening beside the fire pit roasting marshmallows or sipping a night cap. The 3-bedroom historic home offers an open kitchen furnished with every baking and cooking tool you’ll ever need. The bathroom is newly refinished with a custom shower featuring clay tiles. On those colder days, you can warm up in the cozy living room with a snooze-worthy sized couch, fully loaded TV, highest speed WiFi (for those moments you MUST work) and Stûv wood-burning fireplace. Just five minutes from Dunraven River House, downtown Margaretville is home to boutique shops, artist galleries, restaurants and a full-service grocery store. Neighboring towns of Roxbury, Bovina and Andes add to the charm of this beautiful, bountiful region of New York with its own shopping and dining destinations. Hiking trails and ski mountains are just a short drive away, including Belleayre Mountain Ski Center within 15 miles. Organic farms are aplenty, adding to the uniqueness of the great western Catskills. Margaretville is approximately 2.5 hours from the George Washington Bridge.
